Scrubbing Your Sink

When it's time to scrub out a greasy, grimy sink I turn to my favorite cleaning products: white vinegar and baking soda. They're cheap, easy and best of all safe. Even our 4-year old scrubs out sinks with this recipe.

Here's how to safely scrub your sinks:
  1. Close stopper on sink.
  2. Pour 2-3 TBS. of baking soda in.
  3. Pour in enough vinegar to make a nice soupy paste.
  4. Scrub a dub dub with the scouring pad side of a sponge.
  5. Open the sink stopper and rinse out the sink with hot water. Rinse well otherwise you'll end up with baking powder residue.
P.S. I do wear a glove ( and so does our little one Sage) when I do this because even though it's non-toxic I'd rather not have a goopy mess all over my hands.
