Water Workout
These days I don't enjoy the gym; the cardio machines make my legs swell even more (not a pretty sight!!). So under Shane's expert direction I've begun working out in the pool. 15 minutes of walking (with hand and leg resistance), 15 minutes of resistance training...easy! I LOVE this way of working out. The water is easy on the joints, keeps you cool and it's fun!
The beauty of water resistance training is that it can be as easy or hard as you want it to be. It gives you a great core workout...all of us could use a stronger core right? This kind of working out is for everyone but most especially: pregnant mamas, rehab patients, arthritis sufferers and anyone who finds exercise painful or uncomfortable.
