Feed the Need
A few nights back, Shane and I ate at Native Foods in the Aliso Viejo Town Center (N.F. is right next to the movie theater and squeezed in between a Philly Cheese Steak joint and Coldstone...how ironic). Although we don't subscribe to the vegan lifestyle we LOVE the food there. It's nice knowing that what you're munching on is fresh, mostly organic and, of course, flavorful.
We recommend the Ensalada Azteca (Chopped tomato, cucumber, onion, jicama and avocado, atop quinoa and romaine with a mango-lime vinaigrette) and the Portobello & Sausage Burger (Big grilled portobellos with seitan sausage, pommodoro, caramelized onions, pesto and sweet roasted garlic clove garnish). The Elephant Chocolate Cake was pretty yum too. Great food and great prices..we'll be eating at Native Foods again soon.
